Pacific Cup
12 - 19 October 2025

Pacific Cup
The Pacific Cup is becoming a key event for cycling development across Oceania. Following successful editions in Guam and Tahiti, this year’s competition takes place at the Grassroots Trust Velodrome UCI Continental Satellite Center in New Zealand.
Bringing together riders from across the Pacific Islands, the Cup features Individual Time Trials and Road Races, giving athletes the chance to compete for medals while honing their skills in a high-performance environment. Beyond racing, the event supports coaching, officiating, and rider education, providing valuable pathways to grow cycling across the region.
From 12–19 October 2025, the UCI Oceania Continental Development Satellite Centre in Cambridge, New Zealand will host a dynamic week of cycling development and competition for riders, coaches, and officials from across the Pacific.
The program combines high-performance learning with international racing experience. Athletes will take part in a training camp focused on race craft, nutrition, and structured training regimes, while coaches will have the opportunity to upskill through a UCI Level 2 Coaching Course. Officials and support staff will also benefit from shared workshops and development opportunities, building capability across all areas of the sport.
The week culminates in two days of racing: a time trial on Friday, 17 October, followed by a road race on Saturday, 18 October, giving participants the chance to put new knowledge into practice in a competitive setting.
This unique initiative reflects the UCI’s commitment to growing cycling in Oceania, providing pathways for athletes and capacity-building for the wider Pacific cycling community.
