Gym Staff & Personal Training
The Grassroots Trust Velodrome knows joining a gym can be daunting...so we're here to help.
If you need a little extra support or guidance with your training, we have a growing team of personal trainers that work within the Velodrome community gym. Specializing in a range of areas from technique to strength, mobility, goal setting, training guidance, bone density, women’s health and more – they can help you gain confidence in your training and introduce you to our space.

                George Stephenson
George has joined our staff as a Gym Assistant; George is in his 3rd and final year at Wintec completing a Bachelor degree in Sport and Exercise Science and aiming to start his masters next year. He is an experienced athlete, particularly interested in hypertrophy/bodybuilding training which he has been involved in from a young age.
Going to the gym is a huge passion for George, and his own training has evolved over the years through experience and exercise science knowledge.
George will be in the gym Tuesday-Thursdays, from 4-6pm. George's role is to assist gym users with technique, be available for inductions and general gym assistance. He will also be crafting some exercises for those that are keen for a set workout and is generally available to help you get the most out of your session.
Feel free to introduce yourself and ask for help when you need it!
