Endurance Cup Points

Points are gained from competing in the Scratch, Elimination, Tempo and Points race, as well as age bonus points.

To lessen the disparity in the qualifying we will split riders into two qualifying groups. Those wishing to be in A and B grades and those wishing to be in C and D grades.

Endurance events other than the Points Race will be allocated points based on the riders placing.

Points race points will be the actual points gained (or lost) in the points race. These points will count towards the rider’s total points for the Endurance Cup.

The first place winner of the Scratch, Elimination, and Tempo will receive 40 points. Each placing afterwards will receive 1 point less - e.g. second place -  39 points, third place - 38 points.

Sprint Cup Points

Points are gained from competing in the Flying 200, 500m Time Trial, match sprint, and Keirin, as well as age bonus points.

Sprint events other than the match sprint and keirin will be ranked from fastest to least fastest, and point allocated on that basis.

Points will be awarded for the Flying 200m TT, and 500m TT by placement of time. The fastest time will receive 40 points, and from then each placing will receive 1 point less - e.g. second place -  39 points, third place - 38 points.

Match Sprints (including 3-up races when required). Riders will be placed in groups of up to four based on their flying 200 time. Wherever possible there will be a semi-final 91v4 and 2v3) of one ride. The finals will be best of three.

All riders will get at least 3 rides.

All match sprints and 3-ups will carry the same points.

2nd - 6
3rd - 2

Keirin Points
Riders will be allocated to groups up to a maximum of 12 riders.
The group a rider is allocated to will be based on their flying 200 time and ranking. Each group will get two rounds. Points will be allocated as follows.

First place will receive 40 points, from then each placing will receive 1 point less. 12th place will receive 29 points.

Omnium Cup Points

Points are gained from competing in the scratch race, 500m time trial, keirin, and points race, as well as age bonus points.

Riders in the Omnium Cup will follow and join in the same process as the Endurance Cup riders for qualifying. Scratch seeding race in two qualifying groups (see above).

Depending on entry numbers, riders will join in with either the Endurance Cup or Sprint Cup events for the scratch race, 500m tt, keirin, and points race.

Their points will be allocated based on the same points system for those events outlined in the Endurance Cup and Sprint Cup points system.

Non-Cup Events

This year we encourage all riders to make a team either for Team Sprint or Team Pursuit.

There will be no individual points on offer or awarded for either the Endurance, Sprint or Omnium Cups.
